Last week Bella Italia kindly invited us to celebrate ‘La Notte Rosa’ – Italian for the ‘Pink Festival’. Hosted by the team at Piccadilly, the team put on an awesome night of great food, entertainment and celebration.
For those who don’t know ‘La Notte Rosa’ is celebrated every summer along the Northern Italian coast. Locals and travellers alike come together to celebrate, with everything from the bridges to buildings are draped in pink.
To celebrate the occasion, the team at Bella Italia have created an assortment of pink inspired dishes and cocktails, including a fantastically refreshing watermelon cocktail that comes highly recommended. Make sure you try it!
If you’d like to get involved, the Bella Italia team will be keeping the pink party vibes going all the way through until September 3rd, with all 3 city centre restaurants have pink lighting in their windows to make them feel a true part of La Notte Rosa. It’s a great way to celebrate the end of Summer.

If you are visiting Bella Italia, my go-to option of choice would be the Lenticchie Pasta, a recent edition to the menu. It’s a rustic spaghetti dish in a rich lentil and mushroom Ragu. Perfect with a glass of vino or two 🙂
“La Notte Rosa is a well-loved festival across much of Italy, it’s just a great excuse to have fun and enjoy the summer! And the opportunity to develop celebratory dishes here for our own Bella version of La Notte Rosa has been great fun too … I hope all our guests enjoy the dishes as much as I have enjoyed creating them.”
