For most people in the Warrington area, Bents is synonymous with Christmas, with traditional displays attracting big crowds every year. But this year the team have really pulled out all the stops.
Bents have transformed the Glass House to the back of the store to a festive alpine retreat. Inspired by the markets of Munich, Brussels and much closer to home, Manchester, the Winter Markets are new additions for 2017.
The Winter Markets will be focusing on Seasonal Food Stalls with ample seating provided from the traditional wooden chalets dotted around.
The centrepiece of the Market is a Bavarian-style barbecue – and they are even offering a vegan hot dog (kept completely separate from the other hotdogs thankfully) priced at a £6.
There’s also I pulled mushroom burger on offer at the nearby sandwich stall. Something I’ve never seen before.
Of the two I’d go for the hot dog ☺
Those with a sweeter tooth are well catered for as well with varieties of waffles and crepes cooked fresh to order. I couldn’t resist the Oreo crepe!
It wouldn’t be a Christmas Market without a drink or two and the Winter Market will be offering Christmas favourites such as mulled wine, beer and warm apple toddy.
Bent’s have also considered those of us who are driving with a wide selection of coffees, teas, hot chocolate the like.
As well as the Winter Markets, Bents long-established Christmas Displays are also a huge crowd pleaser, with plenty of festive inspiration and stunning interiors ideas for every room in the house.
If you want to get in the Christmas mood or pick up a few choice decorations a trip to Bents Christmas store is bound to kick-start your own festive creations.
The designers and dressers have really outdone themselves this year with the blend of traditional and on-trend designs.
The Bents Winter Gardens are open every day in the run-up to Christmas up until the 22nd December. Make sure you check it out.
