Best Vegan Restaurants to go in Manchester this Valentines Day

February 3, 2020 Daniel Kelly Leave a Comment

Looking for the perfect venue for this Valentine’s day? Not sure where to go that offers top Vegan food? We’ve got you covered! Whether you’re looking for a romantic meal for 2, a cosy country pub retreat or something a little different we have something for everyone to make sure that you have a great Valentines weekend.

Bill’s Spinningfields

3 Hardman Square, Manchester M3 3EB

If you are looking for great Vegan options in Manchester you can’t go wrong with Bill’s. It’s a restaurant that cares about offering top vegan dishes that don’t compromise on flavour. If you aren’t sure what do book this Valentines weekend, be sure to check it out.

Dishoom Manchester

32 Bridge St, Manchester M3 3BT

Dishoom has been a big hit with the foodies of Manchester. We are a big fan of this place and have loved the food every time we’ve visited. Not the cheapest place on the list, but if you’re aiming to impress on the big day Dishoom will not disappoint. The pics below from my camera phone really do not do this place justice. By sure to book early as this place will be booked up fast!

Greens Didsbury

Trading now for over 30 years, Greens Didsbury is one the best vegan and vegetarian restaurants in Manchester. We usually go at least once a year and it never disappoints. Plus as an added bonus, Greens is just across the road from the Metropolitan – one of my favourite pubs in Manchester. If you’ve yet to go now is the time!

I Knead Pizza Stockport

52 Gorton Rd, Stockport SK5 6AH

If your date is more of a pizza lover, you may be surprised to hear that a lot of places in Manchester offer great Vegan pizza options. Top of the list for me is I Knead Pizza, which offers no fewer than NINE Vegan pizzas on their menu.

The Rams Head Disley

Buxton Rd W, Disley, Stockport SK12 2AE

For those who prefer traditional Gastropub in great surroundings, the Rams head in Disley is heard to beat. Refurbed late last year, they have just launched an updated vegan menu that for me is one of the best in the area. Perfect for those with children too. If you like cosy pubs with an open fire, the Rams Head is worth a visit.

Bundobust Manchester

61 Piccadilly, Manchester M1 2AG

If you liked the sound of Dishoom (see above) but wanted something a bit more casual (and cheaper!), Bundobust is the place to go. The entire menu is vegetarian with around halve the dishes suitable for vegans. Top craft beer choices too. Maybe not the most romantic place on the menu but still highly recommended!

Wagamama

Various venues across Manchester and the North West

Yes, it’s a massive chain, but few places offer such a wide selection of Vegan options as Wagamama. With new items added all the time – including the very popular vegan egg dish – Wagamama easily the best chain restaurant in the UK for Vegans. Don’t discount it.

As much as I love the vegan ramen dish it’s probably best avoided on a first date 🙂

And for something a little different….

Flight Club Manchester

Ship Canal House, 98 King St, Manchester

Looking for a great date night over a restaurant? Flight Club has you covered. Step up to the oche with a range of games to suit all skill levels. It really doesn’t matter if you’re no good at darts.

And yes, they do indeed have vegan options that you can order right to your oche. Not exactly a romantic dinner for two but for some Flight Club could be the perfect alternative.
